LIN ALERTS are mobile messages that are sent by an organisation on LIN to their contacts based on the requirements of communication.
LIN provides 3 levels of mobile alerts.

Level 1 - Information and marketing texts

Level 2 - Incident and event notifications

Level 3 - Emergency alerts


LIN ALERTS can be customised to suit different business needs and can be configured with different messages, colour coding and even sound to enable appropriate attention by the receiver. They are easy to set up using LIN workspace and cost very little against the value they deliver to the sender and the receiver.



Types of business who can use LIN alerts
LIN ALERTS can be used by different organisations like business, councils, housing societies, stadiums, workplace and industrial facilities, shopping malls, education institutes and others who have a need to alert their contacts on mobile for multiple reasons.



Level 1 - Information and marketing texts
These are normal mobile messages that can be used just to share a marketing offer by a business to all their subscribed customers or send a piece of information to a selected set based on different demographic parameters and geo-location perimeter filters. They can be personalised to suit different business needs and campaigns. They can be instantly set up and don’t require any app or any other component to be downloaded to mobile phones.





Level 2 - Incident and event notifications
These are the next level of alerts that can be used by a council to notify a roadworks event to citizens in an area or by a company for workplace safety incident to its employees in the facility. They are short in length and carry a very specific message and expected call to action for the receiver. Level 3 - Emergency alerts
These are a special set of mobile alerts that can be used by designated business administrators to communicate an emergency to their contacts. It can be a fire alarm or a terrorist attack or any other form of emergency that needs a quick spread. Emergency alerts can help pass on the message instantly to the contacts (security guards, employees, members and everybody who is connected within the location perimeter) and help in immediate response and reaction by the receiver.
